At the time
she had released her debut album Behind Closed Doors which spawned the hit singles Take It Slow and Turn up the Volume.
This later lead to her first South African Music Award (SAMA) nomination and a listing as one of the Top 20 albums of 2009 by
the Sunday Times.
Fast forward
two years and two albums later and she is now household name and a highly
respected artist on the South African stage.
Her music has been used in movie and television
soundtracks and she has performed at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland as well as top
festivals and venues around the country.
Auriol’s second album, the critically acclaimed CALL IT LOVE, Anima
Sola once again saw her back on radio with the hit single ‘A Better Man’,
It is described
as “…a raw, open love letter that delves into the emotional intricacies and
vulnerabilities one faces when love goes wrong.”
One thing is
for sure, Auriol always delivers, whether it’s in studio or live on stage. Her voice
