His use of light and shadow skillfully
accentuate perspective and the relationship between the 2D surface and 3D
representation. Dane is fascinated by ‘realistic’ representations of form using
various objects to take the form of letters. My favorite of these being his
octopi G letters which are simply mind blowing!
His influences include Stefan Sagmeister, How & Nosm, Ces, Daim, FX crew, Esk and Phek.
In 2012 Dane took top honors in a Sprite competition which saw him win a trip to America which heightened his profile.
