THE WHEEL HOUSE

| |
The Wheel House is a live street performance by two acrobatic entertainers who move a circular stage around public spaces entertaining audiences with their highly technical and masterfully skilled performances.

The interior of the wheel is designed to look like a house, with doors, windows, curtains and a small kitchen. The characters, dressed as hobos, carry out daily household tasks whilst moving the wheel along a road to nowhere. The performance is scored by the creaking wheel and accompanied by an audio soundtrack.

The Wheel House Street Theatre

Produced by the Acrojou Circus Theatre in 2006 The Wheel House is an ingenious piece of street theatre and something I would love to see live! Thus far it has been performed before over 60,000 people in nine countries.

Acrojou Circus Theatre describes the piece as, "Theatrical acrobatics, comedy, and breathtaking moments of risk, all housed within an exquisite, hand-built structure."
